Before you read this, dining is always a personal choice, one's pallat is different to another.
This is our personal review on
SILK ROAD RESTAURANT in Littlehampton as published in issue 2 this year.
If you like to dine at a venue that offers exquisite surroundings, fine food and where you are greeted with the warmest of welcomes, you won’t leave disappointed when you visit The Silk Road Restaurant.
The pride and passion that Teresa and her family have for their restaurant is clearly evident from their attention to detail, the interior is truly sumptuous and the food is truly scrumptious. Teresa does front of house exceptionally well, not only will she have you falling in love with her Turkish haven you will become immediately engaged in her conversation.
The menu offers a tempting selection of Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine; we had a starter of Drunken Kalamari served with warm Turkish bread and olives, for main I opted for the Salmon Kebab, the flavours were delightful thanks to its marinade and Mark had the Pirzola, char-grilled lamb chops and Silk Route vegetables with cucumber yoghurt and basmati rice, we found the meal fabulous.
This place is a must, not just to eat excellent food and drink in fantastic surroundings or to enjoy the themed evenings, but to check out the most incredible loos that have been transformed into a luxurious restroom that houses a choice of toiletries for you to pamper yourself.
Every Thursday night there is a fantastic Jazz trio on and Saturdays their very own belly dancer will entertain.
Top Notch!
