A judge married me, I should have asked for a jury

I just had a little drive round to look at the Boat House, it looks nice from outside, but for a lunchtime was almost empty.  I wondered if anyone on the site has eaten there and what they thought of it.

I'm always looking for new places for lunch, but recently have been disappointed by a few places and would like to get recommendations before wasting my money again.   Cry

I've been there twice...

The food was fine (nothing out of the ordinary), but the service was great - helpful and friendly. Maybe it was empty as it is a bit out of the way, or maybe it's because the food is nothing special.

Both times I went it was quiet, which could explain why the service was so good!

Humm, thanks Andrew, you have'nt actually convinced me to spend my hard earned cash in there though.

Maybe I will give it a go for a snack and see how it shapes up.  I should think they will do much better when the boat people arrive for the summer.

Yeah, I don't think I'll be getting any comps for that review!  Wink

It's over the other side of the river, where you would go for West Beach.  instead of turning right to the beach, you turn left to the marina.
