Littlehampton Beach

Littlehampton Coastguards beach is great for all ages with its family friendly beach of sand and shingle which slopes gently towards the sea. Part of the beach is a relatively safe swimming area where watercraft are discouraged. There is a Kid Care scheme in operation of free colour-coded wristbands linked to beach zones to reduce the numbers of lost children.

Watersport enthusiasts on the adjacent beach have the option of windsurfing, surfing, canoeing, sailing and jet skiing.

This excellent beach has the added bonus of RLSS Beach Lifeguards, a Coastguards Tower overlooking the beach and the Foreshore Station incorporating a First Aid and Lost Children Centre. Adjacent amenities include a modern funfair theme park, theatre and cinema.

For family fun and fantastic weather - Littlehampton is hard to beat. A Blue Flag and Quality Coast Awards, harbour and a stunning riverside development make Littlehampton a seaside town with space, style and lots of sunshine.

Littlehampton is lucky to have two contrasting beaches to offer visitors. The East Beach is traditional sand and shingle and perfect for families. And the West Beach is more tranquil with abundant wildflowers and sand dunes on the shingle beach.
